Previewing tomorrow’s election analysis

Tomorrow night I’ll be posting the results from the 2012 Boyle County Exit Poll,  which will contain survey questions about priorities for our local community as well as voting patterns for the Danville City Commission members and approve/disapprove of our various national, state, and local political leaders. I will also try to post up incumbent reelection rates for the 2012 congressional and Senate elections as soon as the information is available. Traditionally, about 90% of incumbents are reelected in the House and 85% are reelected to the Senate, even in supposedly “anti-incumbent” years like 2010 (see here and here). This year, about 380 incumbents are running in the House and 23 incumbents are running in the Senate.
