“Practicing Civil Engagement” symposium at Centre College next week

There will be a three-day symposium on Centre’s campus next week on  “practicing civil engagement.” In other words, this symposium is on the topic of how to be civil in an age of incivility. A number of interesting events are planned, and I encourage anyone who lives nearby to attend.

The Norton Center presents “The Rivalry”, a dramatization of the Lincoln-Douglas debates:

Representatives from the Centre Republicans, Democrats, and Social Democrats will participate in an hour-long debate over timely political topics:
